Specification-Driven Industrial Solutions

Built To Your Specification.

BTYSpec starts with the application and specification—not a product catalog. We work to understand what matters, configure the right route, control sourcing and quality, and deliver a result that matches the requirement.

Brand Core

The two capabilities we are building around

A single contact is useful, but it is not enough. BTYSpec aims to earn trust by understanding industrial products and by executing every project with a disciplined, traceable method.

01

Product & Application Knowledge

We study materials, structures, operating principles, performance targets, interfaces and environments so that the discussion starts with the customer’s real need—not just a model number.

02

Controlled & Traceable Execution

We use defined review points for specification clarification, supplier selection, sample approval, production follow-up, inspection, change control and shipment release.

Focused Product Portfolio

A focused portfolio with room to grow

We do not aim to sell everything. We focus on products where application, material, structure, performance, environment and verification meaningfully affect the final configuration.

Complimentary Preliminary Review

What we review before we quote

Every qualified RFQ starts with a preliminary review. We look for missing information, unnecessary cost, manufacturability risks and configuration choices before simply asking a factory for a price.

Specification gaps
Missing dimensions, revisions, standards or operating conditions.
Cost drivers
Requirements that may add cost without improving the application outcome.
Manufacturability
Material, process, tolerance or configuration choices worth clarifying.
Quality & sourcing risk
Points that should be verified before production or supplier commitment.

A note from the founder

Hugo He, Founder and Technical Sales at BTYSpec
Hugo He · Founder | Technical Sales

I’m Hugo. Before starting BTYSpec, I worked in international B2B trade—coordinating suppliers, following production, resolving quality issues, managing deliveries, and dealing with the problems that do not show up on a quotation sheet.

Those experiences shaped how I think about industrial sourcing. A good partner should do more than provide a price: they should understand what you need, ask the right questions, control the details, communicate clearly, and take responsibility when something goes wrong.

I’m building BTYSpec to be the kind of partner I wish I had back then.

That is also why I personally review every qualified inquiry that comes to BTYSpec. When I see a practical way to reduce unnecessary cost, simplify a requirement, improve manufacturability or avoid a sourcing risk, I will tell you—even if you did not ask.
